Compact version ultrasonic level meter is that the electronic unit (set parameters, display, the signal output) and ultrasonic probe combine into the overall form, installed on the top of the container, stable operation safety.Selected various models according to the needs of users, the signal output in a variety of forms, application scope is extremely broad, excellent anti-corrosion performance. Especially, explosion-proof series can be used for explosion-proof environment strictly.
Structure:
The series is consists of LMUT 2-Wire Series, LMUN 3-Wire Series, LMUU 4-Wire Series, LMUR with RS485 Series and LUMI explosion-proof Series.
Measuring principle: Time-of-flight method
The sensor of the meter pulses in the direction of the product surface. There, they are reflected back and received by the sensor. The meter measures the time t between pulse transmission and reception. The meter uses the time t (and the velocity of sound c) to calculate the distance D between the sensor membrane and the product surface: D = c •t/2 . As the device knows the empty distance H from a user entry, it can calculate the level as follows: L = H – D .

An integrated temperature sensor compensates for changes in the velocity of sound caused by temperature changes. Calibration Enter the empty distance H and the span F to calibrate the device.
Blanking distance : Span F may not extend into the blanking distance B. Level echo from the blanking distance cannot be evaluated due to the transient characteristics of the sensor.
2 wires series ultrasonic level meter
2-wire series is the most common form of ultrasonic level meter, instrument's power supply(DC24V) and signal output (DC4-20 mA) share the same circuit, current under 4mA is for power supply, and above 4 mA is a signal output.
With the leading technology, we provided the level meters with HART® 7 Communication Protocol which have been passed the tests by the HART certification laboratory.
2-wire system of ultrasonic level meter's maximum span is 30 meters, having the characteristics of small blind area, large range of advanced technology.

3-wire series of ultrasonic level meter is actually four wire system, its power supply (DC24v only) and the signal output (DC4-20 mA) loop is separate, each of them use two lines, when they were connected to negative side, they usually use three lines. Its advantage is transmitted power is larger. Ultrasonic level meter's ultrasonic sensor is fully closed structure, the structure of the integrated sensor shell's optional materials have: ABS, PVC, PTFE. PTFE is resistant to strong acid, strong alkali, organic solvent corrosion, fully adapt to all kinds of measured medium, three-wire system of ultrasonic level meter's maximum span is 40 meters, having the characteristics of small blind area, large range of advanced technology.
